Andy Simmons founded Black Label Builders in 2021. He had set out to build his own home and found that Louisville's luxury market offered plenty of traditional houses but very few with real character. With guidance from his mentor, Buddy Cox, one of the area's leading luxury home builders for decades, Andy started a company to build the homes he couldn't find.
He also brought something few home builders have: more than 20 years in the yacht industry, where custom builds are held to tolerances measured in fractions of an inch. That same standard of precision and finish goes into every Black Label home.

Design and budget. Plans, finish selections, and a detailed construction budget, all approved before work begins.

Permits and site prep. We pull the permits, handle any HOA or architectural review, and get your homesite ready.
